Erica is the founder of Soul City and teaches from the heart — with depth, warmth, and a touch of playful lightness.
She believes yoga is more than movement — it’s a path to reconnect with yourself, breathe more freely, and live with authenticity. Her classes invite you to soften, feel, and explore without pressure or expectation.
A certified yoga teacher and somatic trauma release facilitator, Erica intuitively weaves together classical asana, breath awareness, and somatic practices in a trauma-informed way. Her teaching nurtures safety, curiosity, and deep embodiment — not about performing, but listening to the body and honoring what arises.
What Erica stands for is realness. She creates a space where all parts of you are welcome, where compassion, curiosity, and courage guide the way.
Soul City was born from her wish to build a home for honest connection, shared growth, and full-hearted living — a place where the soul gets to breathe.

Through the lens of Katonah Yoga, both my personal practice and teaching have transformed tremendously. Moving beyond linearity into a more spherical way of practicing and living has opened new dimensions of awareness and embodiment.
Yoga is origami for the body. Through fits and folds, we reference something greater than ourselves. We see the body as a blueprint of the macrocosm, a reflection of the intelligence and patterns found in nature and the universe. Everything is mirrored within you.
Through metaphor, polarities, trinities, and natural cycles, we unlock both body and mind. This practice invites more harmony, imagination, and vitality into our lives, because it feels good to live in a well-organized home, and your body is your house.
In my classes, you can expect hands-on adjustments, a communal space, real embodiment, and a mystical dialogue.
Feel free to join us and come with a curious and open mind, and experience the magic of Katonah Yoga.

Originally from Mexico, his path
led him across different countries and continents before landing in Zurich. What began as a curiosity around how yoga affects the body has evolved into a practice that touches many
realms of Yoav's life.He sees yoga as an invitation to look honestly and compassionately into
ourselves, allowing us to become aware of what is true to our hearts and live accordingly. He never ceases to be amazed at the unending layers of the self one can uncover through
sustained, honest practice. With a strong foundation in alignment and mindfulness, Yoav teaches Hatha, Flow, and Yin Yoga, inviting students to explore the deep connection between body, mind, emotions, and soul. Yoav's classes are designed as a journey into curiosity, awareness, and self-discovery.

Sovachana, also known as Sovi, embodies and teaches yoga as a way of living — a path back to one’s own true nature. Her classes invite you to slow down, sense inward, and meet yourself with curiosity and honesty exactly where you are. Through a somatic approach, the focus is not on how it looks, but rather on how it feels.
Sovi guides her classes with empathy, warmth and joy, creating an inclusive space where you don‘t need to be anything but you. It is not about feeling better, but get better at feeling, even when it gets uncomfortable. She encourages your curiousity and self-agency to sense into the richness of your own inner landscape.
Yoga found her in 2012, first through the doorway of Asana and as later the longing for a deeper understanding grew, the many layers of the practice appeared slow and steady in her life. Her teachings are rooted in tantric Hatha Yoga (non-dual philosophy, pranayama, kriya, asana, meditation), embodied Vinyasa,Hatha and Yin.
Deeply grateful for the wisdom she has received along the way, she sees that everything and everyone can be a teacher, if we are willing to see and listen. She is inspired by community, nature, the body’s wisdom and is in awe for the guidings of her most important teachers Satu Tuomela, Sarah Della Pietra, Stephen Thomas and Johannes Glarner.

Yoga found Lena at a moment when she had almost lost touch with herself. Through practice, she learned to return, out of her head and back into her body, from doing into feeling, from movement into stillness. Seeking balance and finding it again and again has become both her practice and her way of living.
For her, yoga is a space for depth, balance, and connection, with yourself and with others. Her classes blend Vinyasa and Hatha with Yin, breathwork, cacao, or sound, guided by intuition and a somatic approach that invites you to sense rather than strive. She loves music that brings you home to your body, dynamic flows that build strength, and Yin sequences that feel like a soft landing: Like a long, steady exhale.

From Miriam’s very first yoga class, a question arose: What is this? Years of teaching later, she still carries that question as a seeker. Trained in Rishikesh in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Pre- & Postnatal Yoga, Sankhya and Soundhealing, she weaves mantras, Sanskritam, and philosophy into her teaching.
A polyglot and sinologist, Miriam has a love for languages and a deep longing to understand in a world where so much is misheard. She found in yoga a language to discover the Self fully, recognizing the body as its most genuine speaker—a no-pretend, raw voice that expresses truth beyond words.
In her classes, Miriam encourages students to drop formalities and pretenses, to show up unpolished and whole. Practice with her is about meeting whatever arises—distraction, discomfort, or vulnerability—with honesty. To practice imperfection!
And to then meet the knowledge within ourselves.Miriam training: 200h Multistyle, 200h Hatha and Ashtanga, 300h Multistyle, 50 h Yin, 85h Pre- & postnatal, Soundhealing Tibetan Warrior Syllables-Tradition and Sound Training Level 1
