Hands-on Lab I 26th July I 2:00-4:00 PM
This hands-on lab is part of the Beyond the Mat Teacher Circles and is dedicated to the practical exploration of hands-on adjustments in yoga.
Open to yoga teachers of all levels—whether you are actively teaching or not—this session offers a space to practice, refine, and exchange approaches to physical assists in a supportive and collaborative environment.
-
We will work through a range of asanas, from simple to more advanced, using them as a foundation to explore different ways of adjusting.
Rather than following a single method, this lab invites shared learning, drawing from the collective experience of the group to discover what feels clear, supportive, and appropriate.
This is not a teacher circle as before, but a space to step beyond theory and into direct practice—learning through doing, observing, and exchanging.
Come with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to explore together.

Sound Bath I 27th August I 7:30-9:00 PM
A multi-instrumental journey for the nervous system.
Lie back, let your body settle into the floor, and allow yourself to be carried. This is a sound journey woven from healing instruments — tibetant and crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, guitar and voice — layered slowly so that one texture dissolves into the next.
-
We begin by guiding you into stillness through yoga nidra, the practice of conscious rest. From there, the sound takes over. As the layers build and move around the room, your breath slows, your thinking mind quiets and your nervous system finds its way back to rest.
You don't need to do anything here. Just arrive, lie down, and receive.
What sound reaches is the part of us that words and effort can’t, the place beneath the thinking mind where the body holds its tension and its stories. As the nervous system shifts out of its habitual guarding and into rest, something loosens. You may notice it as deep relaxation, or as a quiet sense of having returned to yourself. It tends to stay with you long after the last instrument fades.
Come on comfortable clothing and bring a journal if you wish to write after the journey. We'll hold the rest.

Breathwork Journey & Sound Bath 18 September I 7:15-10:15PM
Our bodies carry an incredible intelligence. They learn, adapt, protect, and develop patterns that help us navigate life's challenges. Yet sometimes, even when we understand these patterns, we still find ourselves reacting, shutting down, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck.
-
This evening offers an opportunity to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the wisdom of the body.
Through Somatic Trauma Release Breathwork—a combination of conscious connected breathing and specific body postures that support the release of deeply held tension—we create space to explore what is ready to be felt, expressed, or released.
As the breathwork settles, we move into the sound journey, allowing waves of sound from crystal bowls, chimes, Tibetan bowls, and gong to wash over you, letting the nervous system settle into deep relaxation as you integrate the breathwork.
